The House of the Devil (2009) directed by Ti West and starring Jocelin Donahue is (despite the obviously bad title) one of my most favorite scary films from this last year... nothing I like more than a no nonsense heroine and a good dance scene mid fright!

This is already in my Netflix queue, so glad to hear that it's good. My husband and I love a good scary movie. Great picks - those Nikes rock. And the phone reminds me of the wall phone in our house when we moved in a couple of years ago. It was a total Napolean Dynamite phone, with 40 foot cord.
I really wanna see that film. I've heard a lot of good stuff about it from some of my friends. Have a great week.

I absolutely loved that movie!! :) There was so much tension, even though the actual scary stuff only happened in a couple of minutes. And that dance scene was just adorable.

Hahaha! That sounds hilarious - the dance scene! I think my horror loving boyfriend would love to see that! I'll have to go have a look for it at my vid store!
