Married to the Sea

A very late submission to the Shadow Gallery (it was supposed to be posted by Sunday!) a fantastic project that is run by the incredibly talented Tracy♥ of Hey Harriet. It is open to anyone who would like to participate. The requisites to join are simple and can be read *HERE*.
Sources: The photo above is of my lovely 'Ship in a bottle' which I had the extreme luck of winning from Emily♥ of Resplendent Tranquility about a month ago. It's very much a treasure! Also, below is a photograph of seashells that my good friend Hugh♥ recently brought back for me from his trip to Guam. He also brought me some chocolates... but those were devoured before they could be photographed.
Thank you so much Tracy, Emily and Hugh!!... ♥

That necklace is so lovely!
That's a special gift from Guam!
The tiny bottle is beyond adorable Gabbi! ~xo*
Oh, what a delightful post Gabbi! I love the photo you took of your necklace and just look at those pretty shells! I have a small collection of seashells I brought back from Italy (from along the Gulf of Venice). Each time I hold them in my hands I'm whisked away to the Italian seaside preserved in my memory.
P.S. You're welcome :)
Those are wonderful. I really enjoyed those. I love the sea. Both sets of my grandparents had homes on the river when I was growing up.
Lovely images... the first reminded me of the movie "message in a bottle".
Your blog just popped out from nowhere. :) I figured you were working on this awhile back. Believe it or not, I visited you 3x until I saw your freshly cooked post. :)
Glad to see it... :)
I love the necklace you won from Emily!
I agree with DrollGirl! Those babies are sparkling!
I love that necklace Emily made! Gorgeous photos, Gabbi ^_^
El regalo es la amistad y todo el amor que te rodea.

Love the autumnal light of the top shot Gabbi - gorgeous as ever!
Oh! Pretty, pretty!! Message in a bottle (can't help thinking of that "Police" song - I'm going to have it in my head all evening now!!) is so mysterious and full of meaning...the seashells are so delightful - I love their creamy sheen - wonderfully shot!! Hope you're having a lovely week sweetheart! XX
great pictures.. :)
xx
That little bottle is so adorable! And the seashells - I love them. Beautiful! I used to collect shells from the beach in Texas, but I never found any that were very complete..
oh, that neckless is just fabulous. you captured it perfectly!
now i have read everything i need to - i was never a bitch, i never ignored anyone - you 4 always all got on better with each other thats all. i am quieter than you all but i never imagined you would or could be capable of so much hate. i couldnt do it to my worst enemy
Beautiful, Gabbi! Bottle necklaces are so precious!
Ship In A Bottle - I need. What a fabulous little necklace to wear clasped around your throat - quite the conversation piece. Congratulations on winning! :)
those seashells are beautiful...there's just something so alluring about simple shells that it makes it absolutely impossible to resist picking them off the beach :-)
you are such a great photographer! So creative Gabbi!! :)
your photos are truly gorgeous!
I love pictures of the light in the evening-esp when it involves the beach!
I sit outside in the evening each day and watch the sun go down. I like the evening when I know it's just going to get cooler and not hotter like it does in the morning.
Wonderful Gabbi! Even if you're late! Did you sleep in? ;) I'm glad you joined in just the same. Maybe it can be an extra early submission for this coming Sunday :)
wow, that necklace is a treasure. the seashells are beautiful too and make me want the ocean so badly.
