Leave Her to Heaven (1945)
Directed by John M. Stahl,
starring Gene Tierney, Cornel Wilde,
Jeanne Crain and Vincent Price.

Don't want to spoil the film for you (in case you haven't seen it already) so I won't give away all that much, but will share that the plot is nice and twisty and noir and the acting is great (Tierney received an Oscar nomination for it) and nearly every frame is a technicolor masterpiece. All was first introduced to me by my friend Chloé.

These movie stills are gorgeous. I've never heard of this film before, but I'm off to see if I can secure a copy through the library.

I hope you've been well :)

Netflixed! I love the last shot of her in the hat, too. There's something about it that seems really dark and comical all at once.
