(Famed producer of all Radiohead albums and some of Beck)
Went to see and fell in love with this film over the weekend. Sweet and funny and strange... with comic and video game references galore. I know, sounds like a train wreck to the non-nerd, which I am not (tricky double negative!) but swear it wasn't. Also an amazing soundtrack with original songs by Beck, Broken Social Scene and Nigel himself.
Did you have a nice weekend too?

I've heard about this movie! We watched the preview the other day and it looked so very enjoyable.
I watched, not for the first time, one of my favorite movies this weekend: Sue by Amos Kollek. I'm regularly being mocked about my love for that movie.

Yes, I saw "Kick Ass" (Loooved it - naughty me!) and "Inception" loved, loved that one too! I think we've at a very good time for movies at the moment!

I had a great weekend, that included a visit to a flea market in Brooklyn, breakfast at a lovely organic place, and catching with some old NY friends!

Hi Gabbi. Yeah, the cat goes where ever I go, she's my little buddy...although she often looks at me disapprovingly, as in that last photo:)
A buddy of mine saw it. He really enjoyed it. I'd like to see it myself.

I've heard this movie is great! I have a soft spot for quirky Michael Cera, he just seems so innocent & sweet in this little boy kinda way. he's great. plus he's a fellow canadian, woot. ;)
