My submission to the Shadow Gallery, a great project run by the talented Tracy♥ of Hey Harriet. Open to anyone who'd like to participate, the simple requisites can be read *HERE*. Sources: Chrysanthemums from my backyard, they just started growing out of nowhere in a small empty flower bed we had. I'm guessing the people who lived there before us had removed them for some reason but they managed to survive. Chrysanthemums were my Grandmother's favorite flower.

Also, I'm sorry for being gone these last couple of days but I have a very valid excuse... it was my Birthday weekend (35!... *gasp*) and though generally don't enjoy them I had a pretty good and busy one. Think I was partially inspired by my fellow bloggers who shared the week with me, D♥ of Dream Sequins who threw an amazing Tea Party and the always lovely Hanako♥ of Through the Looking Glass who escaped to Palm Springs! Hope you girls had a gorgeous one also... will be catching up on all my reading soon and will return on Monday with a vintage giveaway!! *Besos*

Beautiful Chrysanthemums photos. I'm pretty sure they were my grandmother's favourite flower too. Because of that, my cousin's name has the word Krisanti in it (meaning Chrysanthemums in Indonesian), and I always thought it was a gorgeous name.
