On the subject of Music

Enjambre (meaning swarm of bees in Spanish) is a favorite band of mine, but have to warn you that I’m completely biased. The band is partially comprised of three of my cousins: Luis, Rafael and Julian. And a fourth member (Javier) is the boyfriend of another cousin of mine (Tely). The following are two videos of theirs; please tell me what you think! The music is in Spanish, but I’m hoping you also feel that good music is universal.
They’re currently on tour (details *HERE*) and if you happen to be anywhere near el Distrito Federal this 12th of September you should stop by and see them perform!

Yes they're good...and the clips are fantastic! You're right...good music is universal...
They're cool. And the video is awesome. I love the beat of their music.
Wowsers Gabbi! I'm at work at the mo (BOOO!) but as soon as I get home I'm going to have a listen to this delightfully named band!! Can't wait actually - it will be my treat at the end of the day!! XX
~ That's so great! Thank you girls... so proud of them, and it's neat hearing positive things from non-family members. Wishing you all a lovely new week!♥
They are really good. Cool music. I enjoyed those clips. Thanks for sharing those with us. I hope you had a wonderful start to your week. Cheers!
I love it, really, love the mix of vintage sounding beat + pop music, not to mention the voice/language, it's... muy exotico! Are they based in Mexico?
Gabbi, you have very talented cousins! They sound really good. It doesn't matter so much that I don't know what they're saying. I don't understand a lot of today's band's lyrics anyway, haha. I like the vintage-inspired snippets in the first video. The second one was cool too, but yikes - what a surprise ending!
You are so right! Good music sounds good either way!
You for sure have bragging rights! I hope they tour and you get all the free tickets! :)
I dunno them, but when I check the video I like it :)
xxx
Molan!! ¿De dónde son? Voy a promocionarles en España.
besos
Oh! I very like!! Particularly Ausencia de Cocina - it reminds me of an Aussie band I'm fond of "The Vines". I love that they sing in Spanish too - such a wonderful language!
great video ! and i like them now . hahah .
The second is my fave (love when the strings come in near the end) - and a great vid too I love the vintage gear.
They remind of an Brit group Lloyd Cole meets The Strokes - which can only be a good thing.
Very cool, darling Gabbi! Reminds me that I should listen to more Spanish music...
xoxox,
CC
From what I heard, they sound great! I can't listen to all of the songs now, but I definitely will when I find some peace and quiet. :)

I can't listen to it at the moment, but when I get the chance to, I definitely will! That's so cool, knowing a band!

They're great! I'd love to see them perform! You should suggest to them that they tour Australia :)
Their videos are neat! Very talented cousins you have there. :)
WE LOVE IT!! We do love music & love "shakin' it up at the store" and playing great music from around the world!!
Okay Gabbi, so here is the deal: I thought you were pretty darn amazing before but now that I read that you are related to super cool musicians, your amazing meter went off the charts. haha
Honestly, I had never heard of them. But I listened to all the videos you posted up and I am really loving them. I'll have to look more into them. Thank you so much!
