I ♥ Paul & Joe

Friday, December 26, 2008

I’ve never tried Paul & Joe beauty products (though the packaging is adorable) and the only Paul & Joe clothing I own came from Target, but I love Sophie Albou (the Parisian designer who founded Paul & Joe) pattern designs and for a number of years now and I’ve been visiting her beauty site and collecting the lovely computer screen savers and wallpapers that are posted there...

...and today, when I went to see what new thing there might be, I found a great new screen saver for my computer! It sports one of the newest wallpaper designs of a little cat with a white background, I downloaded it right away of course, and not only is it cute but it's practical with both clock and date. You can click *here* to download the little cat clock screen saver and *here* for a flowery non-cat screen saver.

These are some of the wallpapers I've saved for a few years now, you can click on the small photos to see the larger versions. There's also more available at Paul-Joe-Beaute.com (it's a really nice website).

Aren't they pretty? For more Paul & Joe Wallpapers be sure to visit *HERE* and click on ALL SIZES to see the larger versions.

~Hi Sam, glad you liked it :) Aren't the constant cat/feline theme in her designs great?... thank you!

~Thank you dear Spain, yeah, the Holiday spirit stays with me till the 6th of January, when we celebrate el Dia de los Reyes Magos with a Rosca de Reyes :)

~I keep wanting something from the Disney line dear Billie, it reminds me of the children perfumes and glosses my mom would buy for my sister and me from Avon when we were kids. And I agree completely on the green and black pattern :) Thank you for your comment, it's always great hearing from you...

~I'm glad you liked them dear Michiko! :) Their clothing site is great too...not sure if you saw it yet? They have some nice music playing on it. Hope you had a nice weekend!xxoo

~Happy you liked it :) Thank you Mothersvea!

Yes, yes, I've seen the clothing site too, looked great, and the music is nice. I've actually heard it on Milla's blog "Loveology" before and loved it, she must have been inspired by the site?

Oh my gosh, the little cats are too sweet. & the 1st one has a fun, 1950s feel to it that I just love.

~Thank you Michiko! I don't think I've ever visited the Loveology blog, I'm going to go search for it now....hope your New Year preparations are going smooth!xxoo

~It's great finding a fellow cat lover dear Ambika, really glad you liked the wallpapers. Paul & Joe are genius. And I love your Etsy shop. It's going in the favorite list :)

~You know, dear Asherette, I've never really looked...but from what I'm hearing it sounds hard to find and get? A friend of mine in Paris said she went on a hunt for the Disney line and that it was sold out? I'm going to go check at the Standard Hotel (it says on the site that they carry the products) next week to see what they have? Thank you for your comment, I always love reading from you :)

Wow, the designs are beautiful.
I got my wedding frock from Paul and Joe and its actually the floral print above the one of bambi that you posted. Its a gorgeous dress which still gets a good outing every so often.
I'm off to try your sisters profiterole recipe.....

~That's a gorgeous design Kate, how romantic to be married in something as pretty as that! Hope you liked the profiteroles, I can't pretend to be able to make them, but they were really delicious. Not too sweet... :)
