A weeks worth of Shadows...

My Submissions: (1) Necklace by designer Lisa Leonard that I had the great luck of winning through our.city.lights in early November. One of my favorite accessories. Not sure if you can see it in the photo, but it's a heart with a smaller heart inside and inscribed with 'I hold your heart in mine'. Isn't that a lovely sentiment? (2) Taken beneath a small tree in my yard that was packed with birds seconds before I tried to sneak a photo. They all flew away before I could snap it... never make it as a paparazzi, but was still happy with the view. (3) A mixed media piece by Adeline of Lady Croissant. Part of an amazing little package that she sent me as a prize in mid-November. A mix of photographs, music and licorice (from Oslo... delicious!!). Might be thinking that's a lot of prizes? But I swear, I think it had to do with the month. It's my birthday month and the nicest things seem to happen to me in November. (4) Paper flowers, taken yesterday at La Placita Olvera. One of my most loved places in Los Angeles. If you've never been and are anywhere near you should stop by if only to try the food. Best Mexican food and an abundance of restaurants with various price ranges.
