Dolls and Kings

Friday, September 25, 2009

Do you remember the Kokeshi dolls I mentioned earlier this week? Well, this is what they’re looking like right about now. Still not finished, I’m waiting for the paint to dry so I can add some more details and then lastly I’m putting a glaze on them so they can be shiny. The rather blank one on the right is going to be a redheaded sailor girl and if they turn out ok I'll most likely be giving one away(??) My sister is turning hers into little Angels for her Christmas tree. Will be writing about them closer to December though... Such fun to make!

Aren't Fridays awesome? I’m going to be gone till Monday (but have a Shadow Gallery post scheduled for Sunday). Hope you’ve had a great week and wishing you an even better weekend!

PS. Do you know a Makeout King? (video reference)

I know this song. I sent it to a friend some time back. It's a catchy little diddy.

What an amazing artist you've become. Astounding.
