Vintage Pretties

Thursday, February 19, 2009

Waking up late on a Saturday morning and then spending hours walking around tables and displays of mishmashes at thrift stores in search of vintage treasures is my idea of heaven. Unfortunately I don't always get a chance to do it, but luckily these places offer very much the next best thing...

beautiful photographs. My mom has some photos like those of her and her sisters. Isn't in interesting how classy and beautiful those are, for some reason they are not cheesy. If we were to do it today it would be challenging to match the elegance of these (i think). Love that dress, flowy and fabulous. Happy shopping.

Just lovely Gabbi! The two photos are very pretty and the frock is very chic! I wish I had the guts and chutzpah to get dolled up in fine clothes like that everyday!

I love that dress. I would have that as a wedding gown if I could.
