I recently had the great honor of being tagged by the world renowned Mothersvea with two very prestigious awards, the ‘Your Blog is Fabulous’ award and the ‘Nice Blog Award’. I have to tell you that they’re my first ever Blogworld awards (I stole ‘Blogworld’ from my friend Sam… thank you Sam, bet you didn’t know I was a thief?) and I have to fight all my urges to make an acceptance speech. Have you ever given an acceptance speech? I won a small contest a few years ago and had to give a speech… such scary fun! But that’s for another day, what I have to do now is ‘pay it forward’ by awarding both of these to ten of my favorite blogs:
Nice Blog Award Rules: 1.) Recipients of the award are asked to link to the nice person that gave them the award (Mothersvea). 2.) Link to as many other blogs as they want to give the award to and write a motivation for the person. 3.) Must also make sure that they let the bloggers who won know about the award.
Fabulous Blog Award Rules: 1.) Put logo on your blog or post (I broke this rule, please visit Mothersvea for official logo). 2.) Nominate 10 blogs which you think are fabulous. 3.) Be sure to link to your nominees within your post. 4.) Let them know that they have received this award by commenting on their blog. 5.) Share the love and link to this post and to the person from whom you received your award.
I happily tag (in alphabetical order):
*opening pretend envelope*
The Asherette, remarkable artwork tied in with a captivating style of writing.
La Canción de Prévert, great music source. Whenever I see that there’s a new post my heart skips at what awesome song it might be?
Certain Creatrues, if you love to make things or would love to make things you must visit! Inspiring craftster.
Chloé Van Paris, I rarely use the word ‘cool’ to describe things but it really sums things up best here. Is cool hereditary I wonder?
Couture Carrie, stylish New Yorker helps us to keep up with the mode and introduces to the prettiest things.
Life with Maggie, a fantastic collection of women from the past. Visit and get lost in this charming world she’s created.
Matou en Peluche, incredible artist and fellow cat lover. Her gorgeous illustrations are timeless!
Michiko’s Things of Beauty, the title alone explains it all. Michiko has a great eye and ear for beautiful things! When you visit remember to press play on the video by her profile. It sets the mood.
Midnight Travels, fashionista with a knack for hair flip captures and great taste in film. A must visit!
Petite Fraise Handmade, gifted artist who creates the most incredible sculptures and jewelry. I’m in awe at her ability to create such tiny works of art.
Thank you again dear Mothersvea!
