Amber, 2006

Paper dolls, sulking and Nancy Drew mysteries. Reminds me of my childhood... 'The reoccurring themes in my work explore the experiences in my life that have impacted and constructed my identity. I am interested in revisiting, recreating and preserving that history, but am especially fascinated with the interweaving of fact and fiction, and finding a place which autobiography and fictitious narration come together.'

That top one especially - what can I say other than - total adoration! They are lovely and have a story you can put together yourself - the best type of art!

Nancy Drew, I had the whole series in hardback when I was a wee thing. I still get a tear in my eye when I think that I no longer have them.

Lovely, lovely as always!

The first image of girl on the bed is the most moving but I also love the one with the staircase and the one with the key...very Nancy Drew.

These are great. I especially love the paper doll photo but they are all good. I shall go and have a further look at her work, thanks for sharing it!

¡Pero qué fotos más buenas! Yo también he recordado la sensación de abrir a escondidas la cómoda de mi abuela...
