This week...

All I can say is that it's been an active one.

Work was busy...
(the downtown view when leaving)
Hate that days are so short now:

My brother-in-law had a birthday...
(my sisters joke about him not spitting on the cake)

Our grand prize finally arrived!
Named Sarah after her amazing creator,
Sarah of Circles of Rain:

She has a lovely and serious expression and the opposite side
is a gorgeously bright red and pink fabric...
a very balanced creature. (Thank you so much Sarah!)

George found a new box...

Lastly, Kitty Daisy & Lewis... (Baby) Hold me Tight:

Fell in love with this song
partly because of my aforementioned sis who
constantly plays it on our car rides...
(song starts 34 seconds in)

Thank you to everyone who commented on Luis' short story. I thought it was extremely sweet and romantic that so many found similarities in their own relationships! Hoping you had a fantastic week and wishing you an even better weekend... *Besos*

I just played that video, and it's such a fun song!

Looks like you had a busy week indeed. I love that bird, and those polaroids. Did you take those polaroid shots?

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend?

George! What is it about boxes and cats? I take out a box full of something and as soon as it's even vaguely empty I turn around and Harry's in it!!

You were busy - and a new computer too! Thank you for the update and terrific photos! Sam. XXX

Yo tambien odio estos dias frios y
oscuros..solo apetece tomar un buen café y esos deliciosos pasteles que
nos muestras.
I like your blog so much.
Kisses.

Well it does sound like you had a busy week...that is quite the city you live in...I too do not like how it gets dark earlier.
George is too CUTE in that box...if I was a cat I think I would like them too...hehe it would be fun to hide in them. My Turtles like to munch on them too. Oh btw my profile pic is me and Tuna, my female kitty. :)

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!!

oh and adorable little song..love the video.

~ Thank you Liz and Clorivak!! I'm with you on the boxes Clorivak. You should see his face when I throw them into the recycling bin... if it was up to him we'd have them scattered all over the house. Also, I love that photo of you and Tuna♥ George would never hold still long enough for that... :^(

Wee George's eyes are enormous and such a nice green!

Your brother in law's cake looks amazing and perfectly frosted. I always do wonder about all the spit the goes on when blowing out birthday candles. But I can't help it. I love the sight!

Hi Gabbi,
Thanks for the lovely things you said about the bird, that reminds me of that song with the line everybody's heard about the bird-some sort of 50s type rock and roll song-it just popped into my head! I love your cat in a box. I found a whole load of old photos the other day of Lily (and Tiger a little) in various containers-I must have collected them all together! Have you seen that book called 'My Cat Loves To Hide In Boxes"?
Happy birthday to your brother too!

Sounds like a fun and full week you had! A happy belated birthday to your brother! Oh and that bird from Sarah is gorgeous. I was lucky enough to win one as well! I still haven't got the knack to making mine stand...so it happily leans against the wall :) Hello cute cat in the box! George is a cutie!

Oh! The first photo is stunning. I love how you even captured the jet shooting across the sky. I was out photographing some apple trees on a walk today and almost shot some jet trails, but my roll of film ended. Maybe next time ;)
