Redheads, Music, Boxes and Cereal

♥Good morning!
I feel bad writing this, since a friend of mine once told me (and I very much agree) that time goes by fast enough so we shouldn’t will it to go faster… but I really am happy that it’s almost Thursday and almost Friday now! I love the weekends. Do you remember that Redheaded Sailor Kokeshi I’d mentioned last week? Well, this is how she turned out… you can track the inspiration behind her *here* and *here*.

Are you familiar with the band Electrelane? ‘To the East’ (video posted below) is a favorite especially the lyrics: If you'd ever say these words, I'd come to you, where you are It's too hard to be apart....

And lastly, since I have the mentality of a five year old, I adore these seasonal cereals. They only sell them around Halloween. Franken-Berry is king:

Thank you for sharing Electrelane. I loved the song and video. It was a 5 minutes well spent. I'm always happy to come across new music, though I tend to listen to the same stuff over and over without welcoming much else to the rotation. I've tracked down some Electrelane cd's via the library and I can just tell they'll be a great addition.

Oh that's wonderful. The doll is adorable, George is dignified as ever, and the bit about the cereal is so cute! My husband always complains that I buy him the wrong cereals, so maybe I'll surprise him with some seasonal ones.
