'I have been making collages for over 15 years, although I probably started as soon as I had safety scissors in my hand as a small kid. I had a love for construction paper then and enjoyed cutting out make-believe scenes using some of my mother's catalogs and magazines. Little has changed since then, except now I use sharp scissors.'

All images borrowed from Angelica's official blog, Scrapatorium.

PS. Apologizing in advance… I’m sick and have been sort of missing this week. It’s a cold and I feel horrible. Probably won't be back until Monday (though I have a Sunday post scheduled) but promise to visit and comment soon! Wishing you a lovely weekend!

Oh you poor thing! You sound quite ill....no good at all! Lots of chicken soup (I read the other day that scientists have actually prooved this works wonders for the immune system) and garlic garlic garlic.

These are lovely and fun - I thought they were one thing and then I looked a little closer and they have a sense of humour too! Great find!

Hope George is giving you plenty of TLC. Sam XX

Wild and wonderful, all of them!

...Gabbi!..be well.

Listen to Lenore:
"Kill it with a Skillet"...
Fresh grated ginger + lemon + honey + hot water. Or you could make it in a shot glass, skip the water, and add fresh grated garlic for some serious medicine; and then chase it with warm water or what ever tea you choose.

Oh, yes and Salt water up the nose so you don't catch the Swine flu!

wonderful collages! collages sound like a fun project to do - one I keep meaning, but have never really gotten around to doing. This has inspired me though!

I hope you feel better soon! Eat lots of fruit, drink lots of tea, and snuggle up in a warm blanket as much as possible.

There's something about collages like this that I've adored ever since I was a child - they have a Victorian air to them that is quite irresistible. Love!

I hope you get well soon, darling - take it easy this weekend! :)

Feel better soon! If you gargle with sherry that has had cinnamon and clove steeping in it, it should get rid of whatever's bugging you. And it tastes cozy too.

I love the pictures! My favorite is the second one - so dreamy.

Get Well Sweets! Snuggle around all weekend and read or watch some good movies. mmm...some soup would be nice.

These are amazing collages. I do collages myself but have been slacking for quite sometime. I am reading a book about a girl that does them and this post might just give me the push I need to start again.

Take lots of care and just rest and snuggle with George! xox

These are wonderful. It's tough to make collages seem like art but she has definitely done it. Some of them are quite surrealist - like Dali let loose in a collage. How I love the way she used the weather map in the first one.

Thanks for introducing me to this amazing artist!

I hope you feel better soon Gabbi and that you are well enough to at least enjoy the weekend. Take care and rest up! I'd send you some chicken soup but I'm afraid it may be a little off by the time it reaches you. best I don't send it. It will only make you feel worse ;) xo

Oh, these are awesome! I *love* making collages - I got into the habit when I was in middle school and haven't looked back since! Of course, with all of the available junk mail/catalogs, mine are usually just things I think are hilarious, and not gorgeous like these. :)
