Shadow owes its birth to light

Friday, August 28, 2009

This is my first submission to the Shadow Gallery, a project I’ve been an admirer of for some time now. It’s run by the very talented Tracy of Hey Harriet and is open to anyone who would like to participate. The requisites to join are simple and can be read *HERE*.

Sources: The title of the post is courtesy of English poet John Gay and the postcard in the photograph is of ‘Louise-Antoinette Feuardent’ by Jean-François Millet (one of my favorite paintings at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles).

Thank you so much Tracy... great fun!
