(the Mermaids)

Found photographs from Signs and Wonders, a collection by New York artist Roz Leibowitz.

(the Stroll)

‘Elaborate works of dreamy patterns and decoration are drawn on paper culled from the vintage letters, ledgers, trade catalogs, dental charts, menus, roadmaps, and any other bits of ephemera she collected during her twenty-year tenure as a librarian in Manhattan and Queens.’ ~on the work of Roz Leibowitz from NY Art beat

Wishing everyone a very Happy 4th of July!

I've been sort of missing this week, not sure if anyone noticed, but at the very last minute I was able to take some time off at work and squeezed a quick getaway into the week. It was really nice. Next post will most likely be on that...

The thing with digital is, only we go to the effort of printing photos, found photographs will dwindle away to nothing. Which would be sad indeed. These bygone faces! I wonder what they were all like.

gladiators really are super comfy- apart from taking a bit longer to put on and take off they are the best. I love how much more style they have compaired to flip flops but its like wearing the same thing!

Oh, I meant to tell you (like a week ago) something about that vinyl decal post - I also think the headboards are an awesome idea, and I'm planning to get one because we don't have a real one either! :)
