A week's worth of sweets

I blame the nice weather… Red Velvet Cupcakes

Buried somewhere beneath the blueberries, cheesecake squares, lychee, mochi and kiwi is the frozen yogurt:

Strawberry, kiwi and mandarin fruit tarts:

We Green Tea Boba’s.

Pretty Wagashi from Fugetsu-do, a confectionery store in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles since 1903:

Lastly, not sweet but sweet to look at maybe is a stolen Magnolia. Isn't it gorgeous?

Wishing everyone a great weekend!

Oh sweet and I do mean sweet gabbi, what lovely treats you have posted for us! I will certainly be on the lookout for some eats here on St. John all for your darling:) The marie antoinette scene is the best. I loved that movie, talk about eye candy all the way through, the costumes, jewels and candy!

Love all the layout changes you are using with your blog, but I must say I do miss seeing dear George. He was a great greeter to Felino Felice.

Have a great saturday dear gabbi.

I love the delicate pastels of the Japanese sweeties! The fruit salad is my favourite I think though - the lychees look plump and gorgeous! The magnolias are incredible too - I always think they look like really gigantic gardenias without the scent...!! A super pretty post Gabbi - thank you and hope your having a great weekend! I'm glad you never forget to take your camera out with you!

Gahhhhhh! I think I just drooled all over myself. I've just baked a cake too and now feel as if I'll spend the rest of the night dreaming of eating the entire thing. This must be my favourite bit in Marie Antoinette. Stuff the history. Look at the cakes and clothes!!!

Lovely, I have given you some awards! I fear you already have them but then that doesn't stop me giving them to you ;)

~ Thank you Sam♥… it’s not a fruit salad though :) it’s just toppings on my frozen yogurt. It was a crazy week, not sure why but sweets were everywhere this time. They are such similar looking flowers aren’t they? I would always get magnolias and gardenias mixed up until I planted my little gardenias in the garden. But yeah, they are huge and yes, they do smell not as much... I loved your blog themed comics and those adorable little mice of yours! Hope your weekend has been lovely.xo

~ Thank you dear Anna, I’d never heard it called bubble tea before but it suits it perfectly doesn’t it? I love fruit tarts; I pretend I’m eating healthy since it’s covered with fruit…♥ :)

~ Thank you dearest CC, I love♥Love♥Love your newst pop-up boutique post! Such amazing vintage finds. I’m still thinking of that bow belt. It’s a little small for me though… I even busted out the measuring tape to check!

~ Love cupcakes :) Thank you Natalie!

~ Thank you Kristy and Esthète!♥♥♥

HOLY gumdrops!! That's my FAVORITE CLIP from 'Marie Antoinette'!!! You know-'Laduree' provided many of the actual desserts they had on the set :)!! YAY!!

I LOVE all of these! I thought they desserts might be Tokyo inspired before reading anything--I have a small Tokyo obsession. It just seems like a wonderous place and I check the blogs of people in Japan A LOT! ...and my favorite episode of 'House Hunters International' is the one where this girl looks for an apartment in Tokyo-I'm gonna see if I can find that online :)

I do LOVE those paper chandeliers in Fugetsu-do! AND the chairs!! SO CUTE!!!!
